Kobudo/Kobujutsu

Traditional Okinawan weapons is an integral part of the martial arts
experience in our dojo. Students train primarily with the Bo, Sai, Tonfa
and Kama but also with the Naginata and Han-bo in the Nihon-ryu
Kobujutsu system of the Nihon-ryu Goshin Budo/Bugei Renmei. Although
weapons training may not always have a direct self-defense application in
everyday life, the unique coordination it develops and the respect for the
traditional arts that it cultivates provides the student with an invaluable
learning experience
